The program offers scholarships to select private high schools in Toronto and the GTA. It is geared towards students 16-18 years old entering the 11th and/or 12th grade in September of each academic year. Advance academic pathways are encompassed in the programs of science, technology, engineering, math, sports, music, film, fashion, broadcast and media.

The scholarship program was launched in Toronto as a tribute to where Vince Carter began his incredible NBA journey. The groundwork and foundations are being laid for the program to be implemented in 7 USA regions New Jersey-Brooklyn, Orlando, Phoenix, Dallas, Memphis, Sacramento and Atlanta of which Vince Carter has called home throughout his career.

Auxiliary programs for younger students (10-15 years old) are available via employment and career workshops, financial literacy and summer camps. The aim is to engage families to expand and explore education and career perspectives.

The program is open for all to apply. We encourage applications from the Black community, Indigenous, people of colour, females and other underrepresented communities.This is a unique opportunity for an amazing life changing experience.
